Anybody who thinks we got poor coverage should listen again especially to Jobi Macanuff's summary at the end , "I love watching Sunderland play at the moment " etc and he has done this all season , even Barcelona were mentioned to-day, we are winning friends all over tbh, long may it continue.
One gripe from me is the low marks given in the player ratings by some "experts" to Ekwah who played superbly in the engine room. He was in the thick of things all game his passing was sublime and never put a foot wrong, we have a real gem and another future star here, mark my words.
I did say this on here the first time I saw Clarke and Patterson play so he is already in good company . And furthermore he has a lovely smile .

Spot on I thought Ekwah had a great game couldn’t understand his mark

The Sky highlights don't do our second goal justice. The last 20 seconds get shown but there is about a minute or more of passing before it gets finished off.
Yeah - I'm about to watch it now in it's full glory

We had the ball for about 2 minutes without WBA getting anywhere near - not sure how many passes but it was a lot.

Edit: A glorious goal after regaining the ball from a WBA free kick taken by their goalie, I counted 16 passes and it involved at least 7 different players. <applause>

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing the full passage of play back. We kept it and moved it around superbly. Maybe not as slick as the reading goal but still brilliant

Well I'm home and sorted and having a wee single malt to celebrate a brilliant performance from them all. Such a small and young team but by God they have a togetherness and quality in abundance. Big shout to Geldart ran his socks off and linked play very well today. Best game for us in my opinion. Great to see Ekwah getting involved the lad is raw but has a talent. Hume at centre back brilliant I could go on. As for WBA disgusted the way they tried to bully the ref surrounding him on every foul and decision. Disgusting and got what you deserved. Great atmosphere created by our supporters continually backing the lads. Brilliant day out with great friends and my grandson.. Happy days. <party>

Before I begin my evening with my good friend, Captain Morgan, I'd like to say what a pleasure it is to be part of this forum ...

... there can't be many forums, with so many passionate people who disagree, where things are so resolutely reasonable and polite.

It's clear that there are some totally different views on managers/tactics/selections/ substitutions/players ...

... but debates are carried out with good humour and the ability to consider the contrary view.

Now, lets get some ice on the rim of my glass, throw in some spices and let the Captain do his stuff <cheers>
Brilliant post, and I couldn't agree more.

****ing mental that isn't it. Don't get me wrong, if that was us attacking I'd be saying "how have we not scored" as well but that's ridiculous from us. Bodies on the line, never say die. 2 of those blocks are by Amad getting stuck in as well.

He clearly loves it here and will be signing a 5 year deal on a free transfer. Top lad, knows where his bread is buttered. <laugh>

You're right about Amad getting the blocks in I had no idea. He's obviously loving it playing for us and whatever happens he's going in my favourite players folder.
