Well done to the players, the staff, the owner and the supporters, for the 1st time in a long time it feels like everyone is pushing in the same direction and its an absolute pleasure being part of it. If we do make the play offs nobody will want to play us, we have a cracking away record and some big game players that can turn a game on its head with a little bit of magic.
To be honest it was quite a surprise I made it to the correct home yesterday. My wife picked me up and took one look at my stupid grin and said well done for not falling asleep and waking up in edinburgh.
They kicked the **** out of him all day and then he gets pushed over and man handled - revenge is sweet
MOGGA: O’NIEN’S AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING Tony Mowbray shared what Luke O’Nien had to do to get ready for Sunday’s early clash with West Brom on Sunday after the birth of his second child over the weekend. MATCHDAY PLAN “The plan for Luke was to get up early and leave at 5.30am to get here in time for breakfast with the team and then play. It would have been his first night with the new baby. He's just a really impressive human being, and I've got no fears that whatever Luke chooses to do with his life after football he will be a success because he is a driven guy.” CREDIT TO HIM "I had no worries that he wouldn't turn up yesterday and give a performance. It's great credit to him. Less than a day after his child was born, he's out there playing and in the middle of it." PENALTY "I thought it was a really soft penalty, to be honest. I didn't see a lot of contact until the boy was on the floor, just about. It was great that we could recover from that and get the three points." ONE OF A KIND "Luke is an amazing human being, really. He's a unique type of footballer, I'm not sure I've come across too many like him. He sets up his own businesses, has his own podcasts, talks about developing young people into leaders - he's having discussions with me about pre-season and asking me what the non-negotiables are. I'm thinking 'Luke, you just concentrate on passing it to us and winning a few headers!' CONGRATULATIONS "It [the birth] is great for him and his family."
Probably is, as he's great on the pitch, motivating to other players and an example of professionalism in his training and dedication to improving skill and performance. He's shown he can speak well in interviews, and when doing a little commentating. He's driven and committed to achieving goals, looks like a great family man. He's always got time for fans he meets and greets with a smile, and is involved with club initiatives and support of local organisations. He knows he makes mistakes but tries to learn from them and help others do the same. Seems to be intelligent and a great networker and communicator. An all round great guy, living his dream. Love him? I'm beginning to hate him! (Joking obviously.)
A thing of beauty that goal yesterday. Not as easy on the eye as Clarke's down at Reading but Reading's defence were piss poor, WBA had a lot of players in defensive positions but we still just ragged them.
Makes me smile and want to cheer every time I watch that, the defenders just didn't know what to do, poor bairns. If we'd chanted Olay after every pass it would have been perfect.
No mate. Derbyshire. My wife picked me up from the train station off a train heading north and I was in a rather happy state lets say.
I'm nervous/excited for Saturday already. This club man, honestly! RTB, love your work and sorry to rush you but Haway get the match thread up already haha
