You've answered your own point there. We haven't sacked Conte and we don't have a "first choice manager" for one and the same reason: Levy has not got a ****ing clue.
We have Paratici as DoF, whose job to identify the next manager as that's what a DoF does...with the slight issue that Paratici's position might be untenable come the end of April, so the person whose role is to identify a manager and identify players for them might not be working with the club next season So Levy does have a clue, just like he had a clue in having David Pleat carry the can for most of the 2003-4 season as Frank Arnesen wouldn't be in place until the end of the season so there was no point in hiring a short-term manager
I don't buy this culture of the club (karma chameleon?) bullshit. Was the culture at Utd poor since Ferguson left, starting exactly when he went? Is the culture **** at Villa, Southampton or Wolves? How is the culture the same from 20 years ago? Everything's changed, including the stadium. It just seems like a stupid meme, to me. Everyone blows leads. I think half of Southampton's points have come from being behind, for example.
The obvious point is why nobody questions the culture of PSG's players, given their track record of crashing out of the Champions League in increasingly ridiculous ways, such as... 2014 - beat Chelsea 3-1 in the first leg, lost the second leg 2-0 and went out on away goals 2017 - beat Barca 4-0 in the first leg, went out 6-5 on aggregate 2019 - beat Man Utd 2-0 in the first leg, lost second leg 3-1 at home to get knocked out on away goals 2022 - beat Los Ladrones 1-0 in the first leg and were 2-0 up on aggregate in the 60th minute of the second leg, only to lose the second leg 3-1
They have a staggering capacity for bottling it in the CL. Their star players play in a comfort zone in a modest league. They aren’t tough enough to mix it in the CL when it matters. It’s a retirement home for Messi, although it really shouldn’t be for Mbappe and Neymar yet.
More than half now.... I think we won the first nine cup finals we played in. Was that due to culture or DNA? Of course not.
They spanned 80 years....there is no mechanism that could explain it. What mechanism is Levy employing that simultaneously makes us much better in terms of league placing while reducing the chance of winning cup matches? And how is he getting that through to the players independently of the manager?
4th spot was given meaning due to the CL that’s why you and a few others call it ‘success’ its not really anything to shout about…scraping into it and limping out of it year upon year…you let me know what success you see there 1 piece of silverware under his tenure the clubs longest barren spells under ENICs watch We have discussed his methods umpteen times, we have discussed his focal points umpteen times
These days Tottenham Hotspur is not a serious football club, ENIC FC are frauds and are conning the loyal fans of this once great club into funding their entertainment and property business. This is what it has become, true fans still go to games because of what it once was, not because of what it is now.
Completely untrue. The record will be broken if we don't win a trophy before 2037 though. Or 2031 if you discount the war years.
Don't be daft...she has no examples of any of her claims. I don't know Billy's gender so the female includes the male.
A ten second glance at Billy's profile page states "Male" - quite easy to discover really rather than guess
Seriously, there's a glut of dreadful Spurs discourse out there. Why does an element of our fanbase insist on not only trying to add to it, but also by using the dirt worst discourse which spectacularly misses the point every single time? If your go-to sources are Harry ****espout or World of Gobshite, you may as well be quoting AFTV
No What we should do is leave talking complete and utter ****e about our team to Twitter users with Man Utd avatars, as is tradition
Billy-opoly : Yo have landed on the "ENIC FC are frauds" square. Go directly to "See you in court (defamation)" .
Not with the football being served up, by a (so-called) "elite" manager, with the on-paper squad they had come the close of the summer transfer window.
