Theres no room for an Ali, Pelkas, Tufan, Traore, Ebiowei or Longman in your lineup. You'd rather a side with the 3rd best defensive form shoehorned in another defender instead.
I accept that it would be nice to have attacking wingers but who is there that is effective? Good wing backs can do just as well as ineffective wingers
Connolly and Oscar, Tetteh and Oscar, Even Smith and Oscar have played in a front 2 with a back 4 in recent weeks.
Coventry we reverted to a 1 in second half!? Tetteh started and when he was injured Oscar replaced him! Connolly was injured Who was the other striker?
Pretty sure we will be in for the lad who's paperwork was buggered up during January window who is an out and out winger...
Yes I think the one's I picked are the best A day or two ago I was ridiculed for saying Chelsea would get goals against Leicester because I should have considered Chelsea's last 10 games I preferred to use my judgement to decide what is better for the future rather than statistics of the past
I've said we've gone 1 up front in the last game and a half, but prior to that we went a fluid 442 for a run of games. It's hardly an improvement. So the last game and a half we've played 1. Since Connolly signed we played 2 before that and you're claiming that you're not taking an attack minded player off to accommodate a 5th defender. The maths are the same whether we go with 2 up top or striker and a 10.
I'm glad more competent folk might come to a different conclusion than that to be more attacking we need to add another defender.
Any of those I listed would get in ahead of a 5th defender when we're generally not shipping goals anyway.
sorry I thought you meant second half of both games let's look at WBA then We started with Tetteh and replaced him with Oscar - so both games were only one up front Connolly was injured https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64753415 WBA and Coventry - one up front both matches
All you mention seem pretty ineffective They are just filling places and there's very little justification for them Having three good centre backs and two wing backs has a better defence and midfield and leaves room for two attackers too often with other players they are a bit like passengers
WBA is the only time we have scored more than one goal this year - we need to score more goals Playing 3 at the back brings Greaves into the team He hasnt started for the last two matches Do you want him in the team or not?
My God you're still clinging to this as some sort of win. Reminds me of a punter putting $10 on Bournemouth to beat Liverpool, and someone telling them "Liverpool just beat United 7-0, this seems like a dumb bet" and then Bournemouth winning and the punter dining out on the win as if it makes him some sort of insightful genius and not just lucky that Salah missed a penalty.
I may have somehow missed it, but did Peter predict the correct score for Chelsea's match? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
No, he just said he expected to watch lots of goals scored by Chelsea later, to which I pointed out that he mustn't have seen their recent formline when it came to scoring goals. They then scored 3 and he's treating it as if he's won the lotto with the number of times he's brought it up.
I predict a random bunch of scores correctly every saturday, just not consistently enough for my accumulators to pay out. Bit like Saxon Pete. Hence we're both ragging eachother on here on a Monday night. Ah well, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
