Well we are both allowed our opinions, more than those who don't go to the games.
Please we should all remember what's written on here means nowt in the scheme of life, my poor mam who is 91, is having a tumour removed on Tuesday from her skull, 91 and going through that.

I get that honestly I do. BUT in the words of Sir Matt if your good enough age don't matter.

That might have been half true in a time before sports science when players were having a cup of tea or bottle of beer at half time but in today's world it's just context free rubbish

Problem I think for Neil is they are trying to get him to play more of the Evans role which is not his game, don't get me wrong he's getting better at winning the ball back and getting stronger but that is not what he is best at.
The kid is one of the best passers of the ball we have going forward but he's missing the player in there that does the dirty work, at the minute I would use O9.
Every good team has one, but we are asking him to play it.
All you hear is he's weak as piss and gets caught in possession, I'm not disagreeing with that, but if that's the case then TM shouldn't be playing him in that position.
We have been poor in the last few games and I believe that is because we only play 2 attacking midfielders in the middle and we get over run, yet everyone seems blinkered and blames the striker situation.
Someone even mentioned yesterday as one of the reasons we got beat even though we conceded 5 ffs

Sorry to hear that marra. Prayers for healing and strength. God bless you and your mother.

In his first preseason game years ago he got caught a few times in possession trying to turn etc.

He's been caught in a similar way almost every game since.

Im not bothered at all if we sold him, im absolutely done with see him make the same mistake every week for 3 years or whatever.

Is true, he keeps trying the same 'trick' and often loses the ball, he is not the brightest is he?

Yep,getting things into perspective from time to time is a good thing for us. My 94 year old Mother is in care with full blown dementia.
Life is never easy. Hope all goes well tomorrow, marra.

I was shocked to see him come out for the second half on Saturday tbh. Think he needs a rest.

I can't understand people slagging off a kid who's only in his second year of being a professional footballer. If he's struggling then it should be down to the manager to take him out of the firing line and put him on the bench rather than having him try to run midfield on his own with 4 attacking midfielders in front of him. I noticed no one said how ****e he was earlier in the season when he put that ball into Jack Clarke for him to score the third against Reading. He's learning on the job with no one of any noteworthy experience alongside him to talk him through it

problem is, the lad is being asked to do a job that, if done properly, does not really gets noticed, but if a mistake is made it puts the team right on the back foot, he made progress for a good few games yet recently seems to have dropped back to the old mistakes, it may be tiredness or it may be few options in front of him but currently the lad seems to be lacking concentration...i also do not think that is a good position for him, he can pick a good pass through the lines so i feel he would be more use further forward.

But that's my point. If he's making these mistakes cos he's tired or lack of thought, it's down to Mowbray to take him out of the line up and put him on the bench. I'm my opinion we've lost a lot of experience down our spine in Evans and Stewart out injured. We need to replace that and for be you can only look at O'Nien in midfield and Pritchard at number 10 and drop 1 of Clarke, Roberts Amad and Gelhardt

i mentioned onien as DM but got all the usual replies, i also figured that not getting a replacement for evans was a mistake...time for TM to earn his crust.
