At least there’s no MOTD tonight!
Me too. The more people who know he’s a tosser the better.Oh I’m watching it, in the vain hope they call him out.
Interesting. I listened to his interview and it seemed to me that he's not happy with concentration levels or alertness amongst some of his team members? I recognise that a manager has a major responsibility in selection and set up etc, but the players on the pitch have a job to do and from what I've seen, there's a lethargy in thinking at times from some of them, the under hit pass, too long a delay at passing, not anticipating etc etc, now that's their job, once on the pitch and for too long now it's been the case. Saints win record since such things were recorded is around 39%, and occasionally we exceed that with different managers, as with Pardew, Adkins and Koemann in more recent times, so whilst we may be rightly worried concerned or worse about the team, our special success periods are brief and certainly not the the norm. The one continuous factor is the players on the park are, in our case going to be average or less in most cases with some really outstanding ones at times. So JWP's interview really did hit the spot for me tonight. Can’t really blame JWP. He was good again today.
We can’t afford to play him at 10 though. Diallo is horrific. I’d play Lavia Jwp pivot with alcaraz more of a 10/free role based on today. We looked better

I’ve had messages from a few non-Saints mates and media types off the back of NJ’s mental interviews today.
Agree. It’s been obvious for some time that he’s not up to the job, they say absolutely **** all.Not watching but assume they will talk about how Brentford are having a good season and we aren’t and that will be about it. Doubt they will bring up the interview

Not sure I can be bothered watching it.
‘So Duje, I’ve been thinking, now I’m going back to my preferred 5 at the back , I’ll need you back in the squad.Imagine that’s us going to 5 at the back again
He’s basically saying it’s my fault, and then goes on to say it’s not his fault it’s because he compromised because of other people. Dick.Just stole this from SaintsWeb:
Summary if needed. of Jones' interview...
Moments changed the game and it has been happening all season
I have compromised too much, we apparently can't play a 3. I want to be an aggressive front footed side
I have compromised on my principles
I have listened to people and it has been to my detriment
I was statistically one of the best in Europe for being aggressive on the pitch and getting the balls in the box
we have not had the type of players needed
we are not further ahead when I arrived, and that is my fault as I compromised too much
the 5 weeks during the world cup was difficult as not all were there
we have been better, but today that team was my fault, I never saw myself in the team, which was sad
They defended properly, we do not and that has been going on too long
I need to improve and to do that i need to go back to being me and I cannot compromise like I have been
we need to win, we need points, we are not a team I associate with
I compromised because I chose to and because I had to.
I have to produce a team that is far more competitive that what we are seeing and I will.
What does this mean?Apologies is posted before…..
