I'm now watching Madoff: The Monster Of Wall Street.

I've got to be honest, it's made me fancy starting a ponzi scheme, I could do with $69b.

He might be a crook, but he's a fairly impressive one and it's a very interesting watch (it seems US Regulators are even more hopeless than US law enforcement).

I'm currently watching Deadwind on Netflix, it's a Nordic-noir crime drama starring the rather lovely Pihla Viitala.

It's Finnish, no its' not, you're only half way through. :emoticon-0178-rock:

It's been good so far.

Watched it all. Not quite up to the standard of the Bridge or The Killing in the Scandi-Noir stakes but still worth watching.

I finished it this morning, it's worth watching to the end, but it's not brilliant. The twist is very obvious before it's revealed and the watching in any order thing is utterly pointless, if anything it gets in the way (if you'd like to watch the last episode last, it's the pink episode).

I think you're meant to watch the White episode last from what I've seen. I think it's set up that way in everyone's Netflix with the other eps randomised.

I finished the first series and you're right, it's not as good as some of the others, but still worth watching. I'll probably leave a gap before getting on the next two series.

Quite enjoyed Shabba Cash (Easy Money) an update of a Swedish series from years ago. One of those you have to suspend belief a bit, there are gunfights reminiscent of Prohibition era Chicago. Also Unit One, a police series set in Denmark and Unit 42 set in Belgium. Also Jaguar, set in 1960s Spain about a concentration camp survivor tracking down a Nazi war criminal is worth a watch. As usual someone’s idea of a good watch mightnot be somebody else’s.<laugh>

The Last of Us (HBO) is an American post-apocalyptic drama television series created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann for HBO. Based on the 2013 video game developed by Naughty Dog, the series follows Joel (Pedro Pascal), a smuggler tasked with escorting the teenage Ellie (Bella Ramsey) across a post-apocalyptic United States. The supporting cast features Gabriel Luna as Joel's younger brother Tommy, Merle Dandridge as resistance leader Marlene, and Anna Torv as Joel's smuggler partner Tess.

Yeah, was watchable. No clue about the game so all new to me. Will be interesting to wee how it progresses.

Pedro Pascal putting in a strong performance, but not keen on the young girl so far. Was also a liitle overlong for a first episode

I don't do video games either as I am a grown up ;)
Critics are saying it is the best adaptation of a video game for TV. Bella Ramsey played Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones.

Currently on Yellowstone, assume it’s been mentioned in here before. Absolutely loving it.
Just finished episode 1, not totally sure about it but my daughter absolutely loves it and she is not a bad judge of a good series and film so will persevere lol
