Netflix: The Imposter, a documentary about a serial impersonator. This guy has smarts, cohones and probably is unhinged upstairs. The documentary concentrates on one of his impersonations - how he succeeded with this particular impersonation is incredible (..................or is it???) Only an hour and a half viewing time - well worth watching.
enjoyed Black Snow with Travis Fimmel and the Devils Hour. watched Wecrashed and cant believe people like that are actually trusted with money.
Love Island every night Great record label. I went to their 50th anniversary bash at Shepherds Bush Empire* *Bloody Hell, just realised that was 10 years ago...feels like 4 or 5
Started watching Vikings Valhalla this morning, some of the acting is okay, some very ropey and some of the fight scenes are laughably bad. Is it worth sticking with it?
What do people make of The Rig ,? Got 3 episodes in does it get silly like Fortitude did after starting off good .
1st season is a poor woke and historical mess, way off what really happened and not a patch on the early seasons of the original Vikings series. Season 2 of Vikings Valhalla is far better if you can get through the 1st season and worth watching imho. Elsewhere season 2 of Alice in Borderland has got off to a cracking start.
Haven't seen Fortitude but would say the Rig got worse each episode. Just about worth sticking with until the end.
As a rather random decision I watched The Menu last night. Quite an interesting film, with some decent acting, including hte girl from Queen's Gambit.
I’m five episodes in and I’m starting to think that making Harry Potter king of England wasn’t a great idea…
Watched “ I came by “ last night, looked good on the trailers but a damp quid in my opinion. These southern films are nearly always crap, no northern grit you see…. Going with “ the bank of Dave “ tonight….
