Eli King returned from Crewe loan. Another midfield option.

I don't think Ninian has mentioned that one.

Do home grown count in the 23 man squad restriction?
I don't think it differentiates between home grown or not, just registered senior players.
Dont know if returning loanees can be excluded. We could end up with a few players sat in the stands unable to play otherwise.
I don't think the 23 rule means you can't have more than 23 players registered only that you can only add new players up to 23 if you're below that number.
Loaning a player out to reduce you're numbers doesn't mean you can bring another in.

Saying that, the rules above are based on FA rules. Our current embargo is imposed by FIFA. No idea what their rules are.

Our club is in this limbo due to the the Sala tragedy over 4 years ago.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of this enduring saga the club need to sort this out as not only is City stymied for this window but the next 2, including the pivotal summer one.

Agree with all that in principle, but there's enough in this existing squad to avoid the trap door - it's up to Hudson (or a replacement) to find it.

I hope he/they can but I'm far from convinced although Sunday's performance will help.

Saturday's game is important on many levels.

It'll definitely be vital for Hudson not just important despite the Leed's game heroics.

If we lose to Wigan on Saturday we'll probably finish the day in the bottom 3 and Huds will be gone.

I’d like to agree and maybe the Leeds performance will spark the team into a much needed win on Saturday

Remember Leeds played a very inexperienced side at the weekend, so I wouldn’t use that as a measure of improvement tbh

And only 2 of our starting 11 v Leeds are likely to start on Saturday. So in a nutshell, it was reserves v reserves last Sunday.

You should check your facts before posting bollocks.

Probably all of them as you and Wigan are sh!te <laugh><laugh>
:emoticon-0140-rofl:

If anyone can be an expert in spotting cr@p then it'll absolutely be your fans based on that first hour on Sunday against the Jacks.

It took the Jacks to take their foot off the gas to allow you lot even a sniff in your game and the goal you gifted them was comedy gold!!! :emoticon-0137-clapp

I'm not sure I've seen many worse displays ever than that first hour.....

Can't believe I spent £70 on tickets for my missus and her relatives and then subjected myself to it too.
It was so bad my missus' nephew actually said at half time that maybe we should all hop in the car and leg it to the Cardiff game instead!

Happy New Year, my lovely :emoticon-0152-heart

Hope you are well & not posting bollocks :emoticon-0109-kiss:
Minxy!!
Great to see you on here.
I'm good thank you and hope the same applies to you and yours.
No I'm posting nothing of the kind even though they've had plenty of stamps on them in the past <yikes>
Have a happy and fun new year. :emoticon-0152-heart

Absolutely 100% true....

Ok, it was said more in jest than with any seriousness but you couldn't blame him for thinking it.

In saying that, as we came out and saw the Bluebirds going 2-0 up with an excellent goal from Ojo on the TV screens in the concourse area he did again say.... "See, told you we should have gone!" :emoticon-0102-bigsm

You've got to admit though Supcon, your lot were dire for the majority of the game. :emoticon-0138-think

Unless the umbongo is lifted and we have a natural left back coming in, it leaves us exposed in a key area with Bagan suspended (is it 3 games or 1 as it was non-violent?) and O'Dowda as cover. And O'Dowda is more effective further forward.

Others can play there but apart from Ralls they are not left footed - for me key for a left back.

I think it's just a one match ban for a "professional foul" Bluey. Dissent carries a 2 match ban with violent or dangerous conduct resulting in a 3 match ban.
