He's very exciting and will get fans off their seat. Might like a bit of end product at this stage, but if he had that he'd be playing for Palace already
Ta. The kid can dribble and he has a trick in him. No doubt about that. Brings something different to what we have. But he's played so few games, his highlights reel has to be padded out with kids games on wold road. I'll file it under a speculative one with the potential to pay off big time. Hope someone can coach him on how to use his right foot though.
The Linfield loan never made sense either, he'd have been far better off either going on loan to L2/National League. At least he'll have kept building up his decent reputation in the domestic game. Instead he went to play under Grant's mate
Bit of twitter speculation that we're in the mix for Ashley Barnes if Burnley get one of their targets in.
Dunno how realistic it would be. I don't doubt he'd be available and I'd put us ahead of Huddersfield if he did leave but I guess it'd depend who else was in and what his wages would be like.
Not sure it would be really now we’ve got Connolly. Big wage for someone who’s near enough past it now
Hmmm, not bad as a back up, but he's one of those players that I wondered what it was that kept him playing at a high level. For a striker, he's barely done anything lately that warrants a move to an ambitious Championship club.
agree, can't imagine he'd be cheap if it was a few years ago yea but i don't think he offers anything oscar doesn't
his best ever goal scoring season was 18 in league one 12 years ago his second highest was 12 in the prem , 5 years ago and averages about 4 goals a season and there's a reason kompany wants rid waste of money
In the league it’s only 2 and 2 They can’t wait to get rid and they play a pretty similar style to us
Not sure he'd be brought in as a direct replacement. I'd hope not anyway. Can play left of a 3 also and I'd imagine he'd come in as an experienced pro not expected to start every game.
