Those very old people (older than me, my parents generation) still often referred to blacks as coloured... those involved/employed by royalty ( other than a fondness for Germans of course) led a very isolated life, some decades behind the rest of us out in the real world. I do think Harry is somewhat pushy whipped, but before she met him she had made speeches in front of the UN. She is no shrinking violet or pushover.
