We need Goalkeeper, centre half, defensive midfielder, left winger and a proven striker. That’s at least 5.
I don't disagree, but out of those 5, I can only see a winger and a striker coming in during the next window.
If we're only bringing in 2 I'd like to see a bit of muscle brought into midfield. We're fine upfront when Tetteh and allayah are back but we're seriously lacking a big ugly tough tackling midfielder to help win the ball back.
Absolutely. I think most on here were alarmed by this shortfall at the end of the last transfer window.
Disagree. We have Sinik, Tetteh, Ali, Longman and effectively Pelkas in a free role to cover the left (or right) . We have 2 decent championship keepers with French international, English international and Welsh international youngsters in the wings. We have an 8 goal striker, a 3 goal forward, that's a 1 in 2 average from the fit strikers with Tetteh and Allahyar to come in who have both looked decent previously to cover the central striker from Jan. If we're playing a back 4 then maybe another would centre half would be nice to have but not essential as all have been proven to know how to defend in this league prior to Shota's chaotic system which manifested at WBA and subsequently. If we're regularly playing a 3 then we either need another CB or to have A.Smith on recall. But we need to offload Cannon, Smith, Scott, Williams, C.Jones, the 2 Chelsea lads and potentially Emmanuel if he's not gonna be in contention to start, maybe McLoughlin also if he won't play simply to balance the numbers at the very least. Then whatever the saving and whatever else is left in the kitty for a hard bastard who can tackle and enforce in midfield and possibly an out and out right forward could very well make a significant difference to the balance of the team

We’ll most likely be in the Championship next season so I’d renew Elder, Doc, Coyle and Alfie Jones. Possibly Covil as well if he recovers from his injury well. The rest should probably be moved on to the benefit of all parties.
Coyle, it's a no from me. If emmanuel recovers I would have him and cyrus. Coyle is league 1 and not the future of the club if the owners ambition is to be realised and we want to challenge towards the top. Mag to Grid!
I wouldn’t say he’s league one, but he’s not the dynamic attacking right sided engine you want when you’re looking to play at the top end of the league, unless you’re playing hoofball.
Doc and Alfie Jones definitely. Elder maybe if we can’t find somebody better (which I think we can), the rest I’d let go. Covil maybe if he is that promising, but the rest are either injured all the time or not good enough. Emmanuel I’d probably be harsh with, but then if he is all clear and it’s all behind him, could be useful as cover. Yeah tough one that.
Serie A side Salernitana currently have Hull City midfielder Ozan Tufan in their sights ahead of the January transfer window, according to a report from Tutto Salernitana.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave, but it would be a shame. He’s a class act but difficult to see how he fits into the team as a key player.
Rumours on Twitter that Sinik is off back to Turkey in January too. I’ll be disappointed if both go but more disappointed if Sinik does. We haven’t seen much of Sinik but he looks lively and he’s supposedly a talent. I think we all knew Acun was throwing Tufan a lifeline and if the rumours are true, it’s not worked out.
