This was on Twitter. Anyone hearing that should have smacked them, then, if the stewards got involved told them exactly why they had done it. Sadly today a family member has had to leave the match due to racism. This is a mixed race minor who has gone to Hull City since the age of 2 years old. The culprit is in N3 and struck her friend over the head… Before making comments about female abuse and then going on to use words such as n*gga, “malteser head” and also Turkish slurs. This made a child want to leave a football game and has been reported to the relevant people at the club. If you know who this person is…
Not on. Not clever either since ticketing makes tracing people much easier than "pay on the day" used to. Hope it gets investigated and sorted.
Tried but didn’t work for some reason so I and pasted what they had written. It was from HullCityRetro@hullcityretro. Edit - managed to link it.
Twice this has happened in that section of the ground this season. Sounds weird but I did notice a strange unsettling atmosphere around the city yesterday. Lots of raised voices, groups of lads hanging about. Just put it down to my state of mind at the moment but overheard a copper at Paragon remark that "its got that feel tonight". Anyway I digress. Not on at all
Unfortunately it'll just keep getting worse until there is some actual real consequences and punishment for the actions. But in the world we live in these days that will never happened
I’ve said before, we’ve acquired what seems hundreds of very young youths, and they were in big groups walking to and from the stadium, nowt wrong with that, but you always get one gobby twat amongst them and that sets them all off, they have a trackie bottom at half mast uniform as well, no colours, right scruffy twats.
When we scored yesterday, around 100 kids ran at the Reading fans, that’s why we have the row of stewards there all game. Just one Reading fan ran towards them and he got ejected.
Had 4 of them push in front of me, the wife and kids yesterday queuing to get in the turnstiles. I pointed out to them that there is a queue and as I'm going through my daughter made me aware he has told me to 'F off'. I waited for him at the top of the stairs and politely warned him of getting involved in things he can't handle at such a young age especially without owning a set of pubes. Whilst doing that his bigger mate calls me a 'c%*#' and walks off. I followed him and confronted him too but it's at this point when I suddenly realise I've got an awful lot to lose if I even just give him a tiny clip on the ear never mind a shalacking and these morons probably know that. I'm a big bloke but these arseholes are fearless. They think they're untouchable. Respect has gone from society now, it's a mess.
Not being pedantic but it was two that got ejected. I was watching them and wondered why as they didn't seem to have done too much so figured they must have said something
Aint even worth starting anything Lads these days will wait in a gang for you Not worth getting a potential brain death Plus knives are common
There is a need for them there. But not stood between two sections of home fans. Maybe someone has had a word as they weren’t there yesterday. A 4 feet gap between fans at most games elsewhere.
Couple of months ago it was all just the imagination of the HDM as far as many on here were concerned. I got pilloried for suggesting that it needed jumping on.
TBF, wasn't it more that HDM just on the smallest thing for us and make it into front/back page news and just seem to ignore anything that happens at rugby? But HDM aside, we have an issue in our fan base that needs sorting asap
Think humberside got accused of scaremongering also and they did include Grimsby and rugby league. They often can't report specifics though if there's any potential to bias possible legal action. Glad people are starting to acknowledge that 'some' fan behaviour it's becoming an issue again though.
I sit in south stand and everyone seems alright there, but I’ve noticed since the return from the covid games at away games there’s been a rise in nobheads turning up to games. Perhaps I just started noticing them more though. Add the rising use of cocaine into the mix and you’ve got a recipe for anti social behaviour.
When they got the winner I saw a load of people rush towards the Reading fans, stewards pushing them back, WTF were they doing?
