I much more recent times (late BP period from memory) I spoke to a local policeman, who I’ve known for years, who openly said to a couple of us that he was looking forward to football season starting because ‘it’s the only time the Police can hit someone and get away with it’

    Oh here we go...

Anyone who calls out scumbags for being just that is some kind of Liberal snowflake...

Which other stadia has wannabe greenstreeters buying seats elsewhere and then subsequently attemping to overpopulate the block nearest the away fans? The stewards are there because that's where the problem is, they moved from E1/2 when the fans displaying that behaviour did.

I was open to the idea that it was either an overreaction or pointless but the fact that it annoys you and you see that as more of a problem that the behaviour they're supposedly there trying to prevent has just become quite satisfying thanks - I'll imagine you going a pinker shade of gammon next time I see those stewards.... .<cheers>

Just a reaction to your ridiculous right wing mercenary tripe. The fact my posts on this have more likes should tell you something as your only like is from Kempton. Surprised he had any spare time as he hasn’t had time to link to any of my supposed anti Hull posts which should be easy if there are loads of them.
The row of stewards between N3 and N4 are not preventing people doing that. Totally unnecessary.
I imagine you going a whiter shade of pale being a snowflake the next time some young idiots yards from each other wave their arms about. Hey, this sweeping generalisation thing is easy, isn’t it?

Liberal leftie snowflake or right wing mercenary? Make your mind up. Generalisations come from you - though that little tirade came across as more of a petulent rant. My ire is directed at probably about 150 or so individuals. You can identify with them or not. In fact you can identify however you want. It's 2022 not 1980.

You started the generalisations, I merely responded to them.My ire is directed at the over the top reactions. Other clubs have bigger problems without the hysteria we get from the SAG, police and a few snowflake supporters.
I am identifying as a non-binary transsexual penguin at the moment.

    Huh?
What do you think striking workers will do to justify being punched?
Picket line laws very very different nowadays

So they've stopped recruiting constables to deploy to pickets from special forces then?

    That's progress.

    No idea
I’ve been on picket lines and never had coppers there.
Laws have changed so much against striking workers that there’s hardly a need for policing any of them

Do they pick on football fans as there are no laws against striking them like there are against striking workers?

What has this got to do with a young fan being racially abused? Stick to the thread old shag. :1980_boogie_down:

I first went to City in 1963-64
I dont think I've ever seen racism at City
I moved away from Hull in 1973 but I still went to matches although in most seasons about 5-10 matches

Later than you Peter(1969) but similar in that I left in 74 and have endeavoured to go to 5-10 a season.

I totally agree,I've never seen it(racism) at Boothferry or the MKM..

It's unacceptable if it has happened and it needs nipping in the bud but I fear(judging by some on here) that people are 'scared' to confront big mouths anymore!
