I remember, Dunc. You're a troublemaker ( kidding). For years I've wanted another German: Roger Schmidt. He led PSV last season and is now coaching Benfica. I guess we'll never get him.
Of course, you never use an out-of-context quote to further your anti-Hanley agenda, do you, Robbie? And you never fish around for stats which prove your preconceived ideas. You can see the mote in the eye of anyone who disagrees with you, but you can never see the beam in your own.
People complain that they don't understand what he is trying to do, but they don't make much effort to understand. Gozo couldn't even be bothered to look into the context of DS's comment about getting the players to come up with a game plan; he just grabbed the chance to use an out-of-context quote to further his anti-Smith agenda.

Look, I'm about as woke as you can get, but I hate this 'snitch on someone for thought crimes'. Maybe if they spent more time trying to connect to the fans and making us successful on the pitch and less time virtue signalling, we wouldn't need this Big Brother cr*p. It's depressing that the Norwich hierarchy seem to be getting closer and closer to the style of this rotten Tory government.
In real life , it's never happened at a football match but i have been In a pub with my kids and some Rowdy lads on the next table were dropping C and F bombs at each other. I simply said " Hey guys can you keep the swearing down a bit there's children around ". They looked embarrassed and apologised , they would have been within their rights to tell me to **** off as it's a pub not a kindergarten but in general people in the UK are pretty polite. I wouldn't grass them up to the bar staff and try to sneakily get them booted out . If an irate season ticket holder shouted ****er at Dean Smith I wouldn't text the grass line that's mental
I don't think it's about swearing, but "discrimination and anti-social behaviour" is different. I was at a match when some loud mouthed teens were ranting on and on at a gay couple in the stand. A group of fans confronted them but they wouldn't stop, so they did report it to the stewards who escorted the teens out of the ground to the applause of those around us. I hate bullying of any kind, but when it includes discrimination of any kind it should be confronted.
They were sitting nearby and must have overheard conversation. I was proud of our fans who stood up to them.
With all of these antisocial behaviour discrimination thought crime initiatives anyone can be offended . When Grant Holt played 100s of fans should be banned for calling him a fat bastard. Just because sensitive snitches were offended on his behalf. You think big Grant gave a **** ? Of course he didn't
Were they snogging or commenting about how sexy the players were ? Two gays minding their own business wouldn't usually attract attention without interacting with the teenage yobbos. Weird
Next time I'm at Carrow Rd and someone sitting near me who keeps getting up for a piss every 5 minutes I'm anonymously texting it in and accusing him of doing Nazi salutes and shouting the N word .
I'm not one to call for a change of manager, but I can't think of one game this season where we have actually played well as a cohesive unit for an entire game. Given our squad, that isn't acceptable, so time for a change IMHO
Judging by the Third Reich style images you post I think that would be you with the salutes and the N word Dunc.
Before we decide to sack DS we better understand exactly what the problems are. Is it skill level on the team, players we have don't mesh, player attitude, front office, coaching, groupthink. Otherwise, there's no sense getting rid of Smith and Shakespeare. Changing because things aren't going the way we them to isn't likely solve anything. Falling out with local media over a dumb article certainly doesn't help. Players themselves also have relationships with the media. But there must be more to it than that. SW wasn't pleased about the criticism concerning Norwich getting 90% of him. Nor was he happy about the fans who showed up at his office last spring to give him crap. I don't blame him for the last two, but a bunker mentality is not good IMO.
According to Connor Southwell of the Pink Un when he was on TNC recently the rift with local media isn’t anything to do with the article about Webber. It is due to them getting the scoop on the Attanasio appearance at the Spurs game, they had it confirmed by the club that he was looking to invest but asked them not to run the story as discussions were in their infancy. The Pink Un chose to run the story anyway and potentially risk the investment talks from proceeding and thus the trust was broken.
