If only you could do this well in the prediction league nobody would get a look in!Told ya!
Great insights as always mate. Great player that he was, Wilkins also benefitted from being willing to help asset strip the club hand-in-glove with the very dodgy owners of the time. Beale on the other hand has demonstrated a degree of integrity and honesty that is very rare these days.It has always been one of the things that pissed me off about the coaching ladder. I did a course with Butch Wilkins RIP. He got fast tracked due to who he was. Now he knew his stuff, don't get me wrong, and he was great on the coaching pitch but there were others who were just 'Joe Public' who impressed me even more. So what took us 9 months, took Wilkins 2 weeks!!!!

Exactly what we were hoping to hear. What a top man.
Just looked at the prices for the next England manager for a five or ten pounds to waste, but Mr Beale is not on there.
What a great interview. He is most definitely a Rangers man and is loving the job. Boy, he looked tired - guess it's a couple of sleepness nights as he deliberated over the decision which, in his words was a very difficult one. You can't blame him for being tempted but it goes to show what a great man he is when he says that he expects loyalty and integrity from the players and they expect that back in return from him - well he's definitely shown that. He's a rare breed in this footballing world and we can only thank him for being loyal to the troops.
Man oh man, this is great news, couldn't be happier. Now come on you R's, give it everything you have for our manager and get us promoted. We have a fine squad of players, just keep the sleepy performances (e.g. against Luton) down to zero if possible.
Think I'll crack open a bottle of Christmas bubbly a bit early![]()
I was just thinking exactly the sameI'm confused - aren't you a Swansea fan?
Top man & a very honest assessment of what’s gone on
