WHAT? You really are very confused! (If my nickname is the problem, it comes from a small place in northern Alberta where I used to deliver oilfield supplies to the many drilling rigs which surrounded the then small village of Swan Hills. Since the tar sands operations started later, the village grew into a large town, but that was after I left Canada to return to the UK. I owe such a lot to my time in Alberta, learnt the basics of the vast range of oilfield tools and equipment, which really helped me later in my working life)
Actually think the board deserve some credit. Beale had other options and doesn't make choices lightly. He clearly saw something here and in Les and the board worth signing up for and appears to have an open and frank relationship with them.
Yep. Les has picked two managers - Warburton and Beale. Both good successful picks. If and when Beale does go we have to trust them to make a third good pick. Agree they should have a succession plan, with Beale's involvement. Maybe they already do.

The Micky Beale Revolution Rolls On! Am l excited.......................F@%k yeah!!!!!!!! please log in to view this image OK, got that off my chest........... normal services to resume.
Too soon after Micky Beales declaration of loyalty surely. Also taking over from mate Gerrard ...bad form Hope he is safe from this one
He can't possibly accept the Villa job after that video interview went out yesterday preaching unity, loyalty and integrity. If he then jumped ship he would look like the biggest knob-jockey around. Nah, he's ours and he's here to stay (For this season at least)
The Beale speculation has already started. Aston Villa: Who are the contenders to replace Steven Gerrard https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/63339467 Villa are a more attractive option, even if in a relegation scrap. But their fans will be more demanding for an instant improvement. I doubt that Beale will change his stance and integrity in a 24 hour period. I guess that we should get used to his name being linked with vacant jobs. I wish Mick Beale every success for the future and mat it be with us for as long as possible. Let’s focus on Saturday’s home match against Wigan and then the next away match at Birmingham. Two more wins would be the best response for MB’s CV.
