I was talking to a Gateshead mate, who never misses a game, and is desperate for us to progress ...

... but he said, this morning, that he doesn't expect us to go up for three years but is loving watching us play.

That's how I feel although I can't get to as many games.
Promotion or not, watching these young lads playing quality passing football is an absolute joy. We won't win every game but it's beautiful to watch at times and to see these young ones improving is just different class

When you think about it our left hand side is bloody good with Alese as left centre back, Cirkin left back and potentially Clarke left wing. That will give opponents nightmares

The way he talks about Ballard I think we will see him back in when he’s fit Nice problem to have though

Been looking for all the Pritchard knockers who say he cant play 90 mins

If anyone sees them let me know
It is a collectors item to be fair. I hope he can repeat it again and again, because as we saw from his cross he is a class act. It is a problem though so hopefully they are finding a way to sort it. He hasnt been at his best lately for me, and I did think there was a case for him to be dropped, but second half he was one of those that got us playing. When I criticise a player I always want them to prove me wrong, anyone wearing the stripes has my 100% support always, and today he proved me wrong, and Diallo did as well tbf. I couldnt be happier to be wrong on both counts.

Bloody great win that. Some prem level players in that team mind. Cirkin is obviously a prem level player already, and there are a few others.

An old mate of mine is a Hammer and I asked him about Alesi, as I knew nowt at all about him when he signed. He was foaming, as he couldn't see the point of producing young lads and not try them out, though Alesi had played a few times for them. Looks like he was right!

And the team can handle being behind which is very encouraging. Not just flying into tackles and wanting a fight, but wanting the ball, playing OUR game and keeping at it.

Best win of the season so far IMO. Well done lads.

F*cking doddle I thought <laugh>.

Tremendous 2nd half from the lads. Some fab individual performances but overall a great team effort. Went behind, so what. The mental attitude of our team now is we can win this regardless.
I would struggle to pic a MotM and to be honest I couldnt care.
As already stated great win today.

PS, shame McLean didnt hurt himself badly.
