maybe Acun is reluctant to replace his friend Shota as it's Acun buying the players & picking the team & Shota is just a Yes man doing what he's told ?. A new manager is not going to stand for that situation (unless Acun employs another friend)

Interesting take on things and who knows, personally I doubt it. You don't buy a dog and then bark yourself. But hey, nothing would surprise me, what I did find telling was both Acun and Tan sat shaking their heads before leaving 5 mins before the end of the Swansea game, that to me suggests that perhaps it isn't them picking the team.

You can't really be serious that you think acun is picking the team. I'm sure shotta will have felt pressure to play certain players before saturday. But I reckon not anymore. It will be his team against luton, good or bad

i noticed the other day that stuffed tiger and stuffed pg tips monkey/chimp have fallen down from wherever i'd put them. i intend to restore them to somewhere more appropriate before the international break concludes. the city badge that was with them may be another matter, however.

I'm pretty sure he realises what a lot of us do, that he is out of his depth, alas Acun doesn't which seems strange.

I think Acun and Tan are making recruitment decisions and the 'head coach' is expected to get the best from the talent made available.

I can't say that I don't think Shota is a bit better than the lot he's been sold at this stage of affairs, but we've gotta stop leaking, and can't be in a relegation scrap at the World Cup break, regardless.

It could get very difficult after that.

Just finished watching All or Nothing Arseanal. Think Shota as well as reading this forum more diligently for team selection and tactical ideas would be well served by watching Arteta at work and noting his motivation methods. Have not seen the one about Man City but that one might be good as well for him to watch being he is being touted by all and sundry as a “coach berefit of ideas”. First principle of continuous improvement-copy what others are doing. Especially those that are at the top of there game.

lose at home to Luton & it must be curtains for Shota ?
That will be five defeats on the trot
Acun is working really hard to get supporters back to the MKM but who wants to keep spending their time & money
on a Sat afternoon watching City getting beaten ?

I think it'll be the performance that matters most on sat as opposed to the result
