Far cry from our last season here isn’t it, I keep saying every week survival is the aim but starting to think I’ve underestimated just how good and hungry this side is, there will be bumps along the road but we’ve reacted so well to every set back, love this group

I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, but I'm not sure we know what a realistic target is yet. I want to see where we are after another 10 games before I decide that we're in the promotion race.

Exactly. We don't have a cheat code like the Mags so this might be as good as it gets, but compared to the last few years of misery loving it.

Hope all the lads and lasses who traveled enjoyed that as much as me we battled we hung in there then TM released the young my word I was impressed but what really got it for me was when a move broke down or we got a bad decision can’t remember but the camera zoomed into Roberts to see him fist clenched and screaming COME ON what a pleasure to see

this video shows how class Bennette does. Beats his man and puts in a decent cross on his left, then 20 secs later shoves it in the back of the net with a composed finish with his right

We are definitely a dangerous attacking side. 9 games in and Rotherham have conceded just 6 goals. Half of them against us in one game.

This one's a canny watch. Filmed by a few lads fans in Watford section, just in front of the Sunderland fans.
@Smug in Boots, @ around 8 mins, that you in the all red Sunderland cap, front row?

Wonder how the Ref was explaining his booking to him when TM says he doesn't understand a word he says to him<laugh>

Got to admit, I'd be fed up enough of a couple of amateur commentators throughout the whole game, filming constantly in front of me, but if it was fans of the opposition I'd be fuming.

Another great point well earned and well deserved. Had a great day out with my son and met up with lots of friends at Watford. Tremendous following again. Not the best of 1st half’s I thought at times we were outmuscled they were a big team. Maybe a tad fortunate to be level at half time. Started slowly 2nd half but once TM made the substitutions we got going and with a bit of luck could of won it. We are a young team but god they are fearless fast skilful exciting battle for each other and so deserved the point. The future looks so good going forward and you just can’t wait for the next game. It’s going to be an interesting season but from what I’ve seen so far we have nothing to fear. Well done lads it’s great to watch.

Isn't it nice to get up on a Sunday after a good performance and have positive thoughts about their future.

There's going to be slumps, players may lose form but games like Reading and Watford make them easier to overcome. Patience will be very important this season and to remember all players have off days.

Can't wait for the Preston game to see the lads live

Your so right . We will take the odd maybe heavy defeat , these are young lads but it’s just so refreshing to watch them playing without fear playing with pace and everyone of them playing for each other. It’s just brilliant.

These good times should make the bad times far more bearable.

If you read back through the last two match threads, when we had set backs people were quick to blame or moan, but it worked out ok in the end.

As I say patience is key this year and I hope people can remember that when some of these young lads make mistakes

Very young squad and it will take time to have them firing every game. Just hope the doom mongers think about things like this. I know they won’t but hey ho
