Watching Pompey again, think Scarlett’s been fouled about 10 times so far and it’s still only 67 mins. Causing them loads of problems and almost scored in the first half and assisted this half. Made a good tackle running back a good 40 yards too. Easy to see why Pompey fans are absolutely loving him.

Edit: Now been subbed off on 70, weird one that, he’d been really lively.

Tanguy Ndombele was an 87th minute sub in Napoli's 2-1 win over Milan (replacing former linkee Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, if anyone's interested...)
Joe Rodon played 90 minutes in Rennes' 1-1 draw with Marseille
Alfie Whiteman played 8 minutes in Degerfors' 1-1 draw with AIK after being knocked loopy after taking a knee to the back of the head in the 3rd minute, which technically counts as his second clear sheet of the season...

Joe Rodon played 90 minutes in Rennes' 3-1 win over Strasbourg
Alfie Whiteman wasn't in the squad for Degerfors' 3-0 win over (oh bugger...) Djurgardens, presumably as a result of getting kneed in the head before the international break

Sincerely hope we have a recall option in January for Parrott, that or they sack their manager.

Preston’s strikers are devoid of service in the system he’s playing, was led to believe their team creates loads of chances… they don’t. I’ve seen about 4 live games and it’s just passing around at the back and middle then losing the ball. Painful viewing.

12 league games played and in 8 of them they’ve failed to score a goal. This is/ was a crucial loan for Parrott and we’ve sent him to a striker’s nightmare of a club.

The thing is, getting regular starts in a team that couldn't score in a knocking shop could actually be the making of him, because if he's getting into positions where he'd score in a team which passes the ball forwards then his instincts will be sharpened - while also giving him a chip on his shoulder for the future
