There's a Scottish expression a Glaswegian friend of mine used to use, which was a (apologies for spelling) "heed-the-baw' ", which was someone who had headed a football maybe a few too many times. I'm guessing that may be relevant?

Apologies accepted - the correct spelling is 'heid'. Sweet God. I haven’t watch any of the news coverage for this very reason. How desperate to fill airtime do you have to be?
I don't blame you. They seem to think we need 24 hour coverage of events and then assume that they have to say something which usually means they keep repeating the obvious all the time when once would do.
The moving of the Queens coffin from A-B is an ideal candidate for one of those silent journey programmes with the occasional caption.
I watch bits simply because it is a historic occasion the like I will not see again.
