A more simple resolution would be to mic up the referees and VAR officials for when VAR is involved and show what they are looking at on the big screen so that everyone can hear and see the discussion in the same way as happens in Rugby and Cricket. That would make the whole process more transparent. It would also stop, in particular, VAR officials hiding from any justified criticism. When everyone else can see what is shown and discussed it should also hopefully dissuade any cheating and any feigned incompetence.
They're not bothered though and the decision will still be made accordingly. The people rigging the way the top positions are filled over the course of a season by fiddling games as the season unfolds don't care about the fans or complaining they care about the money ...
For offsides there should be a microchip In the football boots. That was there can be no denying if it’s offside. For penalty claims it should be reviewed by 5 people. They have 30 seconds once they referee asks for it to be reviewed. Can’t be then questioned but then the reason for the decision has to be documented in terms of a list of options to tick. This can then be moderated.
But sponsors will be concerned and that’s where the money comes from. If cheating and/or incompetence is open for all to see it won’t stop but it will reduce. It’s easier to cheat when it’s hidden but not when it’s open for all to see. If everyone can hear the discussion and see what’s being looked at it’s hardy to justify black is white.
The referee running to the screen needs scrapped for aswell. That **** basically just means the chaps in the van are saying ref your wrong. Because everytime he runs over to see the screen even if his decision is right OR wrong he always reversed the decision. Thus he can remove all responsibility from himself. It’s a joke.
Nothing wrong with VAR in principle just the human element either being incompetent or cheating. Plus sponsors won’t want to be involved with a clearly incompetent or cheating product.
I'm going to change my view that VAR was a good idea because it's made it easier to fix football matches. @Darren Peacock's Ponytail never wanted it , but for a different reason and I think thst reason coupled with his easy they're rigging matches now it should be scrapped. Changing the way var works won't work..
Technology needs to **** off Can’t stand it. Any of it. 11 men v 11 men with 3 men officiating. Bliss
I personally wanted it as I knew refs where shafting us game by game without it I genuinely thought with video technology and evidence that would stop it But no, we are still getting shafted and with technology we are seeing it is quite clear That we are being shafted All the years I moaned about refs and I couldn't back it up about the corruption but now I can
I mean listen to the commentators. They are in total disbelief. There is something clearly wrong here we need explanations or change.
Have a look at the next post I made after your where they commentators are in complete disbelief. If this isn’t proof of match fixing then we might as well give up.
Anyone with half a brain knows mate and had for a long time, but there's plenty still struggling and think the officials just can't see what we saw or that can't tell the time
The point is if you scrap VAR you’re giving them a place to hide again. EG the poor referee can’t see everything. Mic them up and put it on the screen and you’re making it more difficult for them to hide the corruption. As Poster Boy said previously he couldn’t produce any evidence to back claims of corruption up but with VAR he can. We have to make it as difficult as possible for any dodgy decisions to be hidden and show everyone what’s actually happening. If it is incompetence then the same applies.
VAR makes it easier to fix in the 1st place that's the point. You can't just change the way it works it's still a system that allows a 4th party influence an opportunity to change matches at any time at the time
I think after this weekends games the people operating VAR need investigated. I’ve seen ours countless times. But have a look at West Ham’s disallows goal. Shocking. Have a look at Villas. Shocking. VVD should have been sent off. Shocking. Someone’s head needs to go for this. It’s blatent match mixing in front of our eyes.
I agree. It’s totally subjective still. It needs investigated and regulated. All these decisions are potentially costing peoples jobs.
