Williams looks a bit lightweight to me and is definitely a winger, not wing-back. Let's see where the new signings take us but, for me, we look weak on the right.
Norwich and Burnley seemed to target that flank mercilessly!

Agreed. I actually wonder if Williams might give Coyle more help defensively than Allahyar (and certainly more than Wilks). I think he's done enough off the bench to deserve a game or two to see if he can perform at this level.Norwich and Burnley seemed to target that flank mercilessly!

Wilks is too static for me.......... he doesnt move. Not slagging Wilks off, I just think Williams is a safer bet in that position, particularly if he needs to defend a bit too
Well this going to be sacrilege but I thought that he held the ball better than Oscar last night. Disappointed with Oscar in that he did not seem to win much in the middle of the park (flick to Tufan apart ). There was not much hold up play from him.Wilks is too static for me.......... he doesnt move.
if the ball isnt kicked to that lazy ****ers feet?

Happy to hear otherwise and be corrected.
Make sure that you repeat this post just before the game. Shota checks this board just before the gameFor me, he needs to stick with the 4 at the back and just replace Allahyar with Williams or Wilks. We look so much better with the 4 and the aforementioned will want to prove why they should be considered hopefully.
Ok I was thinking about Eaves he did indeed hold the ball up better than Oscar.Oscar does plenty of pressing but prefers facing goal as opposed to being a traditional target man hold-up merchant. Would say Tetteh would be the man if you wanted an Eaves/Magennis type.

Eaves couldn't contest for a ball without giving a foul away
That's a joke, right?Ok I was thinking about Eaves he did indeed hold the ball up better than Oscar.

His second touch was always a tackleOk I was thinking about Eaves he did indeed hold the ball up better than Oscar.

That can't be right as he falls over a lot but not with that base on his feet, it would be "Wilks wobbles but he can't fall down"You must log in or register to see images
