There's also traore to fit in somewhere and if he is a winger / forward then we need a Chris wood type forward who is going to get on the end of crosses. Shame we can't find a whitehurst type forward these days, although he wouldn't last 5 minutes on a pitch with refereeing decisions now.

Got to keep the way we’re playing. Allahyar has not been playing well IMO so I don’t think it’s as big a blow as it first sounds.
I’d be playing Wilks if he’s fully motivated, or Williams if not. Only Shota really knows the answer to that.
I’d bring Williams in for Allahyar. Thought he did well defensively last night, and away at WBA I would set up the same way. Also has the pace to stretch their defence going forward.
Hopefully longman is fit as he’ll give us another option with a bit of quality to bring on when we start to fade in the second half.

I think this injury will be a learning curve for Allahyar to time his sprints better. He’s very quick and full of energy but accelerating that quickly after jogging will lead to hamstring injuries. I think Williams deserve a shot over Wilks.

If Woo is indeed tied up in time what chance that Tufan will be sent out wide with Woo coming in to central midfield?
Would rather not break up the central midfield that is playing so well together but I have a feeling this is what Shota will do.

I actually think we need another central striker more than another wide player. Oscar isn't going to play 46 games and Tetteh looks a different sort of player. But no suggestion we're looking for one?
Surely Woods announced today if it was as close as it supposedly was to being done in time for Burnley?
Oscar has scored potently with his head (YT video), in order to do that, you have to put crosses into the box.
At the moment, we are fitting square pegs into round holes... Tetteh is not a winger and im sure he was initially brought in as cover for Oscar.
Why won’t Oscar play 46 games if he is fit? Tetteh is a striker and we have Smith, Longman, Allahyar and hopefully Dervisoglu that can also play there. We’ve also got Hinds and Covil coming from the youth.
We’ve enough cover up front. Wide areas not so much if we can’t get Sinik and Longman fit before Saturday.
Sinik can't be far away, he was only meant to be out for 3/4 weeks and it's 3 weeks this weekend
