Newcastle fan from the South West. Been a guest to this forum and off and on since 606 was closed. Read many posts, whether this is Tash's player ratings or rants on Ashley.

I do agree that Paqueta for 30 mil is better then Maddison, but I stil don't get where the idea that. Paqueta is avalible for 30 mil is from... Most rumours are saying he is 50-60mil. Premier League quality is hard to determine and do think its overstated by pundits who have to say something rather then stay silent. But from Eddie's position I understand why you would potentially go for more of a know quantity then a risk.. Werner would be decent. He's a great player..

Also regarding negotions, there are times the fan base is better then the negotiatiaters (Carroll to Liverpool etc) and times the scouts/negotiates better then fans (which club would have been excited by singing Gnabry 6 years ago, scouts who did in Germany need a pay upgrade..) ...These days though players value are based on computer models so negotiations are different.

Paquetta would be closer to 40m I think. Probably more if you read some reports.
Maddison is a proven PL player and I reckon 50m will get the deal over the line with addons maybe.

After reading many sources of **** this morning I can conclude that we are going to sign Werner on loan and Maddison for 55m.

Dunno what to believe but that would be pretty amazing.

Certainly better than Cornet and DCL anyway.

Even if we pay £55m for Maddison.. it’s a Perez +£20m. Or a Carroll +£20m.

    bargain.

    Titus Bramble is 41 today.

I rembember I changed his name from Titus Malachi Bramble to Titus Malarky Bramble on Wikipedia, and it stays there for months.

Went in two footed studs up inbetween the knee and ankle... The Coventry player was lucky he's not in two pieces.
