Ooh, what a stinker. :emoticon-0107-sweat

<laugh>

Yeah that’s what’s lacking more than anything from the pre season friendlies. Someone willing to beat a man and play forward. The midfield too often against Pboro and Leicester would turn and play backwards if they were faced with an opposition player

We'll see a different performance to Peterboro now the gloves are off.

Yeah, creativity through the middle is currently a concern but we appear to be in the market for a 10 and there is still a long way to go in the window also, with 3/4 still to come in by all accounts.

Whether we win, lose or draw on Sat, its not the time to panic. Look at how Forest began last season. 10 games in may be different perhaps, but not now.

Yeah Forest were abject under Hughton, they picked up one point from their first seven games. After sacking him they lost one in seventeen, in fact they only lost five more times after that. <laugh>.

Different positions obviously but I think it's harsh to put him in the Eaves and Smallwood bracket.

He's scored a few lovely goals now, but hardly anyone even acknowledges that as a sign that he has some ability. People just seem to have him pegged permanently as a low quality player no matter what he does. Reminds me of Andy Dawson, who it was constantly said we needed to improve upon.

You're right, last season he was significantly less important to the team than Smallwood. He couldn't even nail down the wing back spot under Shota when his only competition was Longman, who certainly isn't a RWB.

He is a low quality player and I can't see him still being here in 12 months.

Him and Daws were both full backs, but for me, that's where the comparison stops.

It doesnt matter who plays fullback/wingback for us, they get virtually no support going forward, so end up looking too defensive.

Exactly, so turn back. That's half the problem...you can make a forward run, but without the right support just hmend up going backwards.

It’s probably been said but I find it an odd choice, only in the fact shota said wingbacks/fullbacks was a position they wanted to strengthen. When he was asked on sportstalk

Has anyone seen what's happened with Cameron Brannagan. Oxford agreed a deal with Blackpool and he was meant to be off but he's just signed a new 3 year deal as they matched Blackpool's offer.

Decent player, but why pick to stay in L1? Fee was over £1m too

We are getting relegated according to most at the end of the season anyway.... Its ALL make believe in 2 days we start again... UTT silverware we don't care...

One thing I can't understand with pundits predictions is that those tipping us to go down are largely tipping Burnley to go up.

They've got a new gaffer with little experience and a host of players that have never played at this level before. But that's not considered a risk, whereas, our business is.

Our business has been better than there's and it's certainly less of a gamble.

Has it been better than theirs? What makes you say that? They signed a player we wanted so must have done OK.
