We only won 2 games last season with aforementioned in a 4 bar Figs but he was used in a back 3 too at Forest. And on top of the back 3 last season they had 2 defensive midfielders in front of them. That would suggest otherwise no?
Considering previous stints of Shota, I don't believe that he will adopt 3 CBs formations here. Shota always preferred 4-2-3-1 formation, he will switch to it after first defeat.
We did, but had a porous midfield, no real outlet and couldn't retain posession with the midfielders and forwards we had, so spent a lot of time under the cosh, defending. 3 at the back just covered for deficiencies elsewhere. Our main issues weren't defensive last season, whether a 4 or a 3 we still had a respectable record, just didn't score goals, and when it went forward, it came straight back most of the time
Have we had an indication as to who the 2 premier league players are? That international defender can’t be too hard to work out.
English is the recognised language of 99% of Scots...Unless he took Gaelic lessons whilst at Rangers?
Complete guess but Richie Laryea makes the most sense to me. Highly rated international (30 caps for Canada) and Forest actively trying to loan him out. Also a natural RWB which is our main weakness
or Jan Venegoor of Hesselink (I just wanted to say it again, like you know Mufasa..go on say it again, Muufaasaaa)
