.... and I think that will absolutely be the plan ( a higher line with our wing backs bombing forward). Coyle, Elder and Fleming can do that until even better come in.We do seem short on cover options though, although Williams and Longman can do a job ..... when fit!

It was not a ****y, sarcastic reply at all. It was a respectful, civil answer to a fair question. He might speak in pigeon English still, just like many top managers do and have done, but to date he hasn't been one bit ****y or sarcastic, in fact imo the total opposite, which is refreshing.

The recruitment does not marry up to a philosophy to play 5-3-2. Nor do we have 3 star centre halves who warrant playing such a formation.

Not having 3 star centre backs kind of warrants the point of 3. Don’t think there is 2 good enough to play in a back 4, in a 3 clearly we are a much better side.
No fear of losing Greaves then if he's not good enough to play in a pair.
Greaves, Figs, Macca, Jones can all play in a back 4.
I just think he wants to utilise Greaves and Jones playing out and bombing forward. TWT if it's best utilisation of the squad available.

They are, I don't know why Baz said it was hoped it would be done before the weekend, I don't think that was ever going to be the case.

Not a name I've heard. But there's going to be some deep scrutiny of our games over the coming weeks so we'll probably see some reactionary signings.
Tbh don't give a monkeys what people who know nothing about our club suggest, would rather fly under the radar and then prove everyone wrong, we are little 'ol 'Ull after all !
