I got the impression we might be looking to sell through some of the comments on the "transfers" post
Two players injured in training without actually kicking a ball for us. Our training facilities are utter dogshit.
Did Paul pogba train there too? injuries in training are a hazard to all clubs and happen at all clubs
The pitch at our training ground is identical to the pitch at the MKM. The building might look like an abandoned Little Chef, but it's a perfectly good pitch.
Hull City's preparations for the new Championship campaign have been further hit after new signing Dogukan Sinik picked up an injury in training this week, while there are concerns over Brandon Fleming and Randell Williams. Sinik's move to the MKM Stadium was only ratified last week and he was at Peterborough on Saturday going through a fitness session before kick-off at London Road in the hope of getting him up to speed ready for the start of the season. It's understood the Turkish international has picked up a calf injury, though it's not clear at this stage how long the 23-year-old winger will be out of action with the club awaiting the results of an MRI scan.
Might be the case but I refuse to believe all the injuries we pick up in training are pure bad luck/coincidence and not part of an underlying issue.
Has any player/manager ever suggested the training ground might be a factor in us picking up injuries or is the whole 'poor training pitch' thing a load of rubbish? What I do remember is that in the L1 promotion season we had very few injuries with a lot of players playing 35-40 games in the season, and McCann said the club had employed some different fitness system to try and reduce the number of injuries. Whatever it was, I wonder if we're still using it!
Is UFC heading to Hull? Some Main Event incoming in Turkey they're preparing for? please log in to view this image
Nothing to do with the training facilities which are not utter dogshit. Probably more to do with the ( lack of) fitness of the two players when they arrived here.
