Don't Brentford have a Turkish forward who now may be surplus?

Dunno if he can play as a creative 10 though.

 

Brentford fans seem to think he’s going to get a look in this season. Saw a few reply on twitter when he’s been suggested that it won’t happen.

 

Think we are reading too much into a couple of lacklustre friendly performances. Yes I'd like a traditional style DM but that's just because we looked bullyable in the last 2 friendlies. Like the creativity issue though, it could just be players playing at 60% in those games so as not to risk injury etc. It's not like we were stretching ourselves or challenging 50/50s in either. Also worth remembering those players played the bulk of 3 games in a week which is unusual on top of pre season work at this stage of the season. Grants lot I think was the first game they'd played more than 45 minutes this pre season so it's understandable they looked fresher. Leicester swapped their entire team at half time.

See what we look like in the first couple of proper games and we'll know roughly where we are.

I agree, we looked okay against both Fenerbahce and Malaga, we played the whole team more or less against Leicester for 90 minutes, whereby they played 2 different teams for 45 minutes each, and then play 3 days later P'boro, which I still say the whole team look leggy. I think you will see much better performance on Saturday.

 

I’ve been a big fan of Choudhury since he first came on the scene at Leicester! It seems he plays a similar role to Seri though.

 

Quite a few reporting that Sinik has got injured in training and is now in crutches.

Seen a tweet earlier today saying he was injured in training this morning and had to be carried away.

Another this afternoon saying he’s been seen out and about with Ozan while on crutches.

 

I’ve seen just this too. Hopefully Shota will be able to confirm on Humberside later on.

 

If that’s true then it’s a ****ing joke how many injuries we get from training. That Cott training ground is cursed. Knock it down, pour holy water on what remains and move somewhere else.
