Nowadays we have temperature being measured in pretty much every location across the country, and constantly, 24x7.. I doubt that even a few decades ago this was the case? Meaning x times more chances of records being broken? (not downplaying the concern, just raising this as a possible factor)
The locations of some of that monitoring is also a factor, especially when comparing to previous values, which may have been taken when the area around it was very different.

Why not just go an open another bank account and put all of it there and then set up the DDs from that account and then… Everything is so simple it’s insane.
