We need to just remember though that these great on paper signings very rarely turn out as such for us. We might need to give him time and not write him off if he doesn't score for the first few games.
I agree to an extent but remember when we bring someone in that is above the class we are used to we usually only bring in one that is a high grade and he has to mix it with the lesser players we are used to so asks a lot of the player, but now we are bringing in very useful players internationals with pedigree and there is a lot of them add that to the few decent players at the club and one or two games in i think it will click if not straight away.
I can't remember us ever signing a player playing well at a level above ours though. He might take time to settle, but he's got a good chunk of pre season and we just need to make sure we create plenty for him
His style seems quite chaotic in the sense he thrives off scrappy situations. Sounds perfect for the championship
Hmmmm, I think seri just edges it as he's played championship football before and tore it to bits. But both are socks of time for me
Can already see Seri getting a back pass from a full back/winger on the corner of the box whipping it first time right onto his head
I'm becoming increasingly intrigued as to how Shota is gonna fit all these attacking players in our starting line up, especially if he is considering 5 at the back. Twt no doubt, but another loan forward on top of Oscar, Allayhar, Sinik, Longman, Smith and Tetteh ?
Oscar and Tetteh your out and out strikers, Allahyar starting right winger, Sinik and Longman for the left. T Smith to go as I’d much rather start Allahyar striker if the other 2 were unavailable. Lack of a midfielder to link it all together is a priority for me and one to play next to Seri to do the dirty work and supplement him
In a 4 4 2 yeh, not sure that would work in a 352/532, but hey Shota is the one making the decisions, good luck lol
He covers all 3 i guess but can’t see him getting many minutes if he doesn’t kick himself into gear. Likewise Scott although he just seems to not have any luck with staying fit, fractured shin I think he’s done now
Oscar does look a cracking signing. Physically, he’s going to cause opposition defences nightmares. Bring on the new season
id have thought it’ll be a front 3, with Oscar/Tetteh fighting for the one central role. I believe we can make 5 substitutions next season as well, so can only benefit us to have strength in depth across the front line and they’ll all get minutes.
I said the other night when I saw him at the Fenerbache gane he looked like a unit, well suited to the English game me thinks
Meanwhile Bristol City fans are "Wait till we let loose our new transfers on Hull see if they can handle it, 5- 0 we will do them 6-0 this time" Rob Atkinson (Oxford United, centre-back, undisclosed) Andy King (OH Leuven, midfielder, free transfer) Matty James (Leicester City, midfielder, free transfer). .
