He’s had 15 months to get in shape, I’m not hopeful he’s going to turn it around in 3 weeks but would love to be proved wrong.
Is the purpose of these games primarily to assess, & improve, fitness? Asking for the bed wetters obvs.
Have people seen how much timber Paddy Pimblett puts on and loses between fights? He goes from 10-11 stone to 14 stone, and he can lose it to get back to 10-11 in two months.
Oh ****. Here we go again. Let's get on his back before he's even started. Disrespectful also to Acun as he clearly has full faith in him. He looked a much better player than we've been used to and will be vital to us this season. At least give it up until the season starts.
Absolutely their living depends on it. Its a must for a pro footballer keep in shape, follow a correct diet and refrain from alcohol. To look at what you need to do he needs to follow Ronaldos example who defines the lifestyle I am refering to.
i cant be arsed to read through the comments but if people are losing their **** over a pre season kick about they know **** all about football
Acun Ilıcalı: "After all, we are playing with Fenerbahçe. We opened the season 2 weeks ago. 5 of our transfers did not play. It is our pride to be able to withstand 85 minutes against Fenerbahçe." Seri, Estupinan, Sinik and Tetteh, who's the fifth?
Pre season games aren’t to get fit, they’re to get match fit. Players should be arriving in good physical condition. Tufan just isn’t fit full stop, some of you lot are probably in better shape. But you’re right, I’ll wait until the Bristol game in 3 weeks time before I start whinging.
Same here - I’m heading away from my prime fighting weight at the moment. Unfortunately it’s in the wrong direction.
