Think it said there was an amber band on the sock and also some inset in the shorts? Was on the really overly detailed kit description post either on ows or twitter
And not just the home kit. The online store has next to nothing! It continues to be an utter shambles ..... hopefully one day soon it will vastly improve finally!!
Any news of the away kit. I've promised to buy two of our grandchildren a shirt, to head off any chance of liverpool shirts appearing. I want to give them both as much choice as possible. ( the two other grandkids are girls and hate football)
Anyone seen any pictures of the shorts or socks for our new home kit? I can't recall seeing any, and if they haven't released any (with no explanation why not) just seems a bit odd. I seem to remember in other years seeing the full kit in the launch photos.
Not a fan of crypto either (though I have bought some before). They’re no more morally-objectionable as gambling firms, less unethical in fact imo, yet gambling sponsors are all over football.
And not a fan of them either. Happy we haven't had one associated for a few years now (as far as I know).
Might be an extreme position but I think gambling advertising should be banned completely. Not gambling itself but I don’t think they should have adverts on TV, sponsors on football shirts or stadiums etc. Gambling should be treat like cigarettes. Legal to do it but advertising banned.
I’m fairly libertarian when it comes to things that are potentially addictive and self-harming, be it booze, drugs, smoking or gambling, but I don’t think they should be encouraged and/or the companies profiting from being allowed to encourage it. I used to smoke and I think a blanket smoking ban would be draconian and if people want to smoke, so be it. I think banning tobacco companies advertising was a positive thing though and I think the same would be true for gambling.
Would you say booze advertising should be banned then as well? Buy now pay later firms, payday loans? High calorie/high sugar foods... I'm not digging you our being a tit, just genuinely interested as to where people draw the line etc
Booze = yeah, people who want to drink alcohol can and should be allowed to go to pub or supermarket or off-license but I don’t think it should be advertised, at least on TV Buy now, pay later firms = like Klarna or PayPal Credit? I don’t think I’ve seen them advertised as aggressively as gambling or booze so I’m not sure enough to offer an opinion on that Payday loans = yeah, I think they prey on poverty for the most part Unhealthy food = again, a tricky one, because food and non-alcoholic drink serves a utilitarian purpose of need rather than want, even if it’s unhealthy Imo, the ones that should have their advertising banned would be tobacco products, gambling, payday loans and probably booze.
