It says he's a centre-back that can play in midfield on transfermarket. https://www.transfermarkt.com/youssouf-ndayishimiye/profil/spieler/674612
Sorry yes that's what I meant. About four rumours dropped all at once so good to have all the player names summarised.
Yilmaz was getting linked to Spurs and Eintracht Frankfurt 6 months ago. Might be harsh on Fleming but he would be an upgrade.
I like the fact we’re scouring the continent (Turkey) for new signings. I would like to have some local representation in the team ( not just as back up) in fact that’s pretty important to me.
Might mean it's fake news that he's joining us. 5.5m does seem a lot to spend on a position we aren't particularly weak in.
I've not seen any of the 3 we've been linked with. You can never tell much from YouTube, but Youssouf looks a real big unit though and pretty quick. Only 23 too
It maybe our weak point come the end of the window. Yilmaz/Fleming would be a stronger pairing than Fleming/Elder.
Think RB is much weaker of the two. Contrary to popular belief I'm not that fussed with Elder going - I just think he's a cheap, competent back up option. I would think if he did leave we would want a better but similarly cheap back up option, with Fleming getting the bulk of the minutes. I'd be reasonably disappointed to see him displaced from the team as I think he has a massive ceiling and don't think he deserves to be on the bench for 60-70% of games.
Agree on the right back situation. I think if money came in for KLP some should be reinvested there to strengthen. Maybe Yilmaz explains the hold up with Brandon’s new deal? Potentially been told he won’t be first choice? He was the one of the 3 I least expected to see hold up with agreeing fresh terms.
