True, but finances are finite and it doesn’t make sense to spend that kind of money on a position we have well covered when serious money needs to be spent on, probably, two strikers who always come at a premium.

But it looks like the main striker is coming in on a free. So the £10m on Muriqi can now go elsewhere
 
There's also some decent players already playing in England. Just saying. It might be good seeing all these fancy names, but I honestly don't think it's the right way to go. Happy to eat humble pie at the end of the year if we are sat in the top 6 - but I cannot see it.
The problem with that is the over inflated prices of distinctly average English footballers.

Would think/hope most transfers are done on the assumption they will make money on the player, not lose money on the player.

It's still a lot of money to spend in the Championship on a position that's not particularly weak.

He's very young so should rise in value.
