I thought the same too but if we're trying to bring in Wright as our main no.9 as Kesler said, I cant see how you bring in Muriqi too.. Unless Shota is going to change formation this season and play with 2 up top?

Pelkas is another one we went for in Jan by all accounts and he's allowed to leave now. So it could be him, I don't think we'll sign 2 top end strikers as it ****s with the formation a lot

Agreed. It sounded like Wright would be the main man if he came in.

We need 2 number 9s. Both will play enough games over the season to be guaranteed minutes.

Do you know how internet search engines work and the wealth of information that they can provide?
So you cant produce an example
I wish you'd said that to begin with
You acted like you had already known of such transfers but it's obvious that you dont and you just said the first thing that came into your head

As if I'd dare copy your modus operandi

All of your previous posts?
you are wrong because I considered each one carefully
you, on the other hand, implied that you made a statement without having any knowledge
it's obvious that you are wanting to get away from a knowledge based discussion and descend to a more childish one
I've read other people's comments which have been a lot more informative than yours
I think particularly the mention of Jean-Kévin Augustin has shown that it's not a good idea to enter into a compulsory agreement even if conditional

As much as this is fun Pete, to save everyone else’s time, here’s a cogent explanation of what I was referring to and helpfully it contains examples of this practice.

https://footballhandbook.com/loan-w...to buy refers to a,term and long-term options.

If you require further examples, please use a reputable search engine, and enter something like:

‘examples of obligation to buy loans within football’

You can vary the search term(s) to try and hone in and focus on particular information that grabs you, too. It can be quite rewarding.

Reactions: Tiger15
Baxter is in (loan with option to buy)
Traore is in (2 year deal with a further 1 year option)
Figuiredo is in (2 plus one year option also)
Tufan is in (2 plus one year option also) just waiting on international clearances etc

Seri is not done but finances have all been agreed. He is speaking with his family and they will have the final say.

Haji Wright is in discussion but he wants to go somewhere where he will be playing which is a plus for us.

Seconds striker is a secret but sounds like someone who’s a big name, was linked with us in Jan, and will cost some money!

Mentions Honeyman going due to his career ambitions

Wilks looks like staying with us at the moment as we haven’t received a good enough offer. (Obviously they are still open to improved offers)
Tan says that but I won’t be believing it until I see it on page 1

thanks for that
I had always though financial fair play would be the reason behind these deals
A lot of deals are dependent upon appearances too
the straight forward loan followed by purchase is no different from a purchase but structured differently for FFP

My pleasure Pete.

Listened to the interview with Tan. Impressed with what he had to say. Signing Baxter has eased the pain of losing Honeyman a bit. I’d still rather have kept Honeyman though and had Baxter signed as well.

I guess you can’t have everything.
