Apparently his tyre checking equipment was held up in customs, costing him a top ten finish in qualifying because there was not a thorough check of the new Pirelli tyres which were faulty before Q1, what a joke.
Come on, post up a link for that one![]()

Here you go mate.
Silver you can wash the dirt off the track, but rubber sticks... so the racing line will be intact, but the "dirty" side will only be slightly better.
Thanks. Just sounded like a great excuse!

I know that, I'm just pointing out that the dusty side will likely be washed down again to help with grip at the start.
I think the advantage of starting on the racing line will be minimal.
Alonso said there was no clean side at the start.
Untrue, they're all in front of Glock.Karthikeyan gets a 5 place penalty for holding up Schumacher, as expected. So the first Indian GP will start with the Indian driver at the back. Ricciardo is also taking a penalty for a gearbox change.
Apparently Glock is last because he was outside the 107%.
Ah ok, wasn't aware of that technicality. Thanks.
Neither was I, if they're going to enforce that rule he shouldn't start at all.
