I never want to see Valery at RB again though! It might have also just made Valery that little bit more likely to stay
Please let's not make McCarthy our number 1 again.

I'm fine with Fraser leaving but we need a new number 1 not a "young number 2".It sounds like Forster made his mind up some time ago so not really in the clubs hands there.
But yeah we should definitely be looking for a No 1, not an up and coming keeper.
Nick pope is 30, 2 years younger than McCarthy. LolI'm fine with Fraser leaving but we need a new number 1 not a "young number 2".

The GK scenario is a bit of a balls up. MaC or FF? New deal or no deal? Whichever way you look it’s not a good deal for Saints. Both are okish but very limited. FF has been great recently but even if he signs & stays I have a feeling it’ll not be the progress we need / desire. Either will demand to be one of our highest earners. Ah fcuk it, sign them both for another 3 yrs each & that’s all sorted & we can then concentrate on more important matters.Im glad Fraser had a chance to come back and show the fans how good he could be and put himself in the shop window effectively.
However, outstanding as he has been in a few recent games, the Brighton game showed he’s just not good enough.
There will be sentimental fans, but of a 5 year contract on upwards of £75k a week, he’s played well for I would say 20% of that time.
For me, despite what’s happened recently, his time is up, as is Macca’s…. It’s time for us to put this position as the main priority for once-something we haven’t done for a long time.

Read his club history on wikipedia. It sounds super dodgy / confusing. Not sure it is an arrangement we'd want to wade into. You must log in or register to see media
I remember being in attendance for Kings day (though I remember it as Queens!) in Utrecht around 97! I may have been under the influence somewhat!Came across this site looking for Saints transfer news. https://www.footballtransferleague.co.uk/clubs/southampton Looks interesting, I'll have a good look tomorrow it's Kings day here in the Netherlands bonkers street parties everywhere. There will be beer.
