Who are the 8 leaving?
Walsh, forss, bernard, baxter, allahyar (all loans) hudds (past it now), moncur, cannon (****e) there's 8 to start with to start with. Could add eaves, doc, emmanuel, then even smallwood, elder.

Personally would keep Allahyar if the price was cheap enough, and Smallwood deserves another year but maybe he would want longer, same with Elder. Doc needs to improve massively somehow.

Allahyar is already agreed and the fee is £2m, contract is also all but agreed. We just need to give the final ok, which I'm 99.99999% sure we will

I was there that night, 83 ish? I think orange juice was the support, great night.

According to their gig list, Orange Juice played The Tower on 17th June 1982, but they list it as their gig, not a supporting gig.

I saw them at Dingwalls in ‘83, I wasn’t really a fan, but my missus at the time was.

He must have been on a decent bit in turkey? will his wage be a lot more than the rest of the squad??
Going to be a lot of pay rises?

our best player last season was honeyman and we had three strikers in double figures. honeyman missed several games ealry in the season because he'd been carrying an injury, and injuries and loss of form meant the three strikers rarely

He's actually not on that much ( from what I'm told, but I can't be certain ) but I think we can all be sure the very limited wage budget we have had to stick to in recent years is a thing of the past which for me both has its pluses and minuses. Some figures I'm hearing scare me with the limited income we have.

Wages wise or fees? I always remember Adam Pearson saying wages are the killer for clubs not fees.

Wages mostly, but it's nothing concrete. I know we all want success again, but it shouldn't be at the risk of the club. Take a look at Derby, Wigan, Bolton, Leeds and others over the years.

The Allams where terrible for us as a club, but at least we where never at any real financial risk

It seems he’s going the right way about it from a marketing standpoint, we all love seeing us linked with big money moves but teams like Luton and Huddersfield are showing that it’s not necessary to spend millions to be at the top end of the table. If you do then get promoted though you’d need to spend a **** tonne.

I think I’m preparing to be underwhelmed this summer , but I think the recruitment could be clever and hopefully very good . I think Greaves has more potential than Stones and Keane did and would like him to stay . KLP is totally different to Bowen in natural talent but he needs to work a lot on improving to meet his potential. Think we could finish top 8 . Shota wil have a pre season to coach them
