I think the main issue with Twitter is that a lot of unintelligent and uninfdormed people feel compelled to comment. It is just a rubbish platform for decent debate. Someone was saying on Radio 4 this evening about how the internet has served to make people stupid. It has given credence to views which would have been laighed at before the internet in the 1990s. Things like the Flat Earthers amaze me. I think alot of people just do it to test people's tolerance. It is not the kind of conversation I would find interesting.
