The manner in which Boeing tried to blame foreign pilots and foreign airlines for a cost-cutting clandestine objective to not train crews about a new onboard feature (MCAS) which gave pilots, with absolutely no knowledge of its existence, a grand total of ten seconds to rectify the issue or die along with their passengers is scandalous. To then proceed without requesting the grounding of all 737-Max aircraft but instead, grudgingly provide paltry guidance to pilots (which ultimately proved useless in the case of the second crash) is inexcusable. Of course, Boeing have ultimately gotten away with it, paying off the requisite deposed chief exec with millions of stock bonds. All started with the integration of suits from McDonnell-Douglas merger who had a completely different philosophy to Boeing resulting in a movement away from safety first to Wall Street first.
