You only have to watch his academy videos on YouTube to see how much he’s developed already. He was a in the box striker playing off the shoulder of the defender. Now he’s a tricky winger who supplies just as much as he provides. He wouldn’t have to do both in a better side. Bowen doesn’t score anywhere near as many goals for West Ham as he did for us but assists his teammates a lot more because he doesn’t have to do both like KLP probably does on the most part for us these days.
Yes I agree with all of the above. KLP is seen as a provider for the team whereas if he was surrounded by better quality players it would become a more mutual thing.
Sayyadmanesh is in the starting eleven for the World Cup qualifier against Lebanon that has just kicked off.
Sounds like he had a poor first half - rated 6.0 10/14 accurate passes 0/1 successful dribbles 0/3 successful crosses 0/4 ground duels won In a game where they have had over 70% possession that isn't great
I hope KPL does at least get some minutes tonight. This is a tougher game than the last one, so unless he starts, which I think is doubtful, then hopefully the game will already have been put to bed and then he might get on. If it is still tight, then maybe he will not get his chance this time.
I think he definitely made the right impression when he came on against Luton. Shame he always seems to get brought on when we are dead and buried
I agree, he needs a run of games, but clearly, with injury and Shota not wanting to throw him in at the deep end, he is managing him carefully. Next season, with a good preseason under his belt, I think you will see a different player.
City linked midfielder Miha Zajc against Croatia the other day. Someone said about looking for a Rob Koren type midfielder… Slovenian with an eye for a pass and a goal. Edit - apologies on the terrible song in the background
I don't know if KLP is playing but you can watch the game here: https://www.englandfootball.com/youth/mens-u21
