I thought they might have waited until window closed simply due to work load related to in & out going players, expected it to be Tuesday.....no coming back from him after yesterday.....he's his own worst enemy, certain games yesterday & sheff wed for example it's obvious it's not working playing out from the back & you can see were going to ship goals....he's to stubborn to change....we ship a few....& Yet he continues.... definition of madness doing the same thing over & over yet expecting a different result.

Big move from club that had to be done, expect couple players in, manager to follow....plan remains the same & we move on....WE HAVE TO GO UP OR THIS YOUNG SIDE BREAKS UP....simple as that.....KTF

Playing out from the back in a gale force wind with a high press was ridiculous.

Bolton's first goal played to the conditions, just like at Portsmouth.

Good old Sunderland, the 3rd division equivalent of Watford when it comes to sacking managers. And you wonder why you don’t progress…. Enjoy another year in the wilderness,
Hiring the wrong manager has been the problem not sacking them.

Plenty of your fans posted on RTG saying he was a bad choice, and they’ve been proven to be right.

Must’ve been a canny Sunday sesh you been on if you can see that mind!!

I left Leigh this morning and drove to collect Mrs Smug from Mansfield, spent some time there and arrived back in the Cotswolds this afternoon. If the only way you can fashion a response is to accuse people of being drunk you should give your head a shake.

Still take BSA
Anyone who doubted KLD's intent should be reassured now.

I don't want a short term fix like Sam, Warnock, Keane, etc ...

... give Dyche a 10 year contract and he'll grind his way up the league by whatever means are necessary.

Burnley are a club in a mess and Dyche must be shaking his head.

He's the complete opposite of the endless garbage Johnson spouts ...

... "Get out there, work your nads off and don't let them take the piss!"

Still take BSA mind like marra, doesn't fit the long term plan but we gotta get out of here this season.....we played some cracking stuff under him at high tempo too

KLD will have been looking since Rotherham away, perhaps even Portsmouth ...

... I'd expect a new man in next week.

I suppose that will tell us. If we are fishing around it means we are making it up on the hoof, but if the new bloke is in this week, they've been on it.

Queer fish Johnson. No doubt he could get them playing some good stuff, but away thrashing were becoming too routine.

Think his main fault was to believe in the jargon he trotted out. I've never judged a manager by what they say, I more or less ignore it. But if he speaks to players in buzz words when they are struggling, they'll tune out. I think that's probably what causes these bad runs.

Good luck in the future Lee.

I think he’ll be really devastated, won’t get a better job than SAFC manager.

I think so too, he seemed to enjoy it here and will be gutted. Again I wish him all the luck in the future as there is a good manager in there, he just has a lot to learn tactically.

This club is a beast, we all know that and many managers have and will fall on their sword unfortunately.

This is true, and reverting back to the two centre backs away and the substitutions topped off with him saying we were really well prepared which we ****ing well weren’t

Exactly mate....it's not rocket science in that respect, needs to know when & when not, yes playing good football is great but sometimes simply need to accept need to move the ball further up the pitch & battle play up there....can't conceede if it's further up the pitch, or less chance at least

no surprises, was expected atm.

thing is, anyone who has watched the team in action will know we are capable of playing football and not just a hit and run team...they should also have noticed we concede too many and where we are weak, such as allowing balls to go right across our 18 yard box and allowing the cross in the first place.

all a new guy needs to do is be able to organise defence and a good link to the striker(s) and while we wont score as many we should be far harder to beat.

My Sunday League manager would turn up and give us one clear instruction five minutes before the game.

If it was windy and damp he'd say,

'Forget what I said in training, get it forward and keep shooting every time you get close'.

Etc .....
