The pompey result saved him or he would have been gone and this would not have happened and more money wasted, we are in the crap now nowt till the summer now. We have to go to Oxford and Wigan as well remember. I stopped going to away matches in 1991 after a 6-0 defeat and made the right choice i feel sorry for those supporters forking out a fortune watching these i used to pay fiver for the coach trip and a ticket about £3. Mick mcarthy in on Monday first and will he have time to bring players in ? And does this mean some of the players want away ?

20 minutes in and everyone could see that his plan to play a back 4 wasn't working, so he waits until 3-0 down to make any changes...and he kept a back 4 but added Gooch into the mix.

Do we keep LJ and just plod on with this rollercoaster of form, pray that we get into the playoffs and hope there are no more batterings? Or do we take a gamble on a new manager, and hope to bring in some fresh ideas tactically?

I know going up this season wasn't essential according to the club but bloody hell KLD must realise we will lose our best players and will have a massive rebuild on our hands if we fail to get promoted.

I really believe a good manager would be top of the league with our squad.
Unbelievable that he didn't change anything at HT (or even before tbh)

Goal difference not looking good, at least Wigan didn't win

Benno said we could have been 4-0 down after only 11 minutes.

.....which lead to a shocking first half display....yet LJ changed nothing until it was too late.

Second half was twice as bad.

A howler by Hof.....and an own goal by Batth.

Feel so sorry for the travellg fans...

Wigan and Rotherham wouldn't get battered like us though. Its not the first time for us this season and probably wont be the last if Johnson stays. Neither of them have been on the receiving end of a good hammering yet unlike us, so for that reason looking at the top 2 is pretty pointless really

When Johnson first came he was making subs left right and centre and once he even made 4 together.
NOW he doesn't even try and change it even when we were 3 down at halftime away to Portsmouth...and that's just one example. He's out of his depth. He's been in charge for way too many hammerings. He can't come back from this.
Imo he has the best squad on paper in the league.
The time for excuses is over.

That is the difference - they don't get humped - we have been humped so many times which even if we were midtable would be unacceptable but as a promotion chasing team it's just appalling

Great day out ...

Met up with loads I knew, some I didn't and helped a few people along the way.

... only spoiled by 90 minutes I still don't understand tbh.

The players didn't seem happy with each other from the start.

Hoffman, Doyle, Neil and Embleton looked like they don't want to be here.

Off to the pub <cheers>

If I'm the owner, I'd be saying "right, one more thrashing and you're gone. Never known us get twatted so many times in one season. And I can't be arsed with his post match ****e. And for the record, I've never chanted Lee Johnsons Red and Whilte army or bought into that ****e he does at full time when he plays up to the South stand. I never moan and I keep my council, but it's very clear he ****in blagged his way into the job. And before the "stop being a bunch or fannies" post start coming, some of us have had enough. Couldn't get there today because of graft, but I'm there through thick and thin like others when most hoyed the towel in. Guttles ****e today.
I 100% concur with the way you feel and your analysis. Getting humped once or even twice a season is gut wrenching. That was embarrassing

Exactly mate, the same as last season when Peterborough and Hull consistently sneaked wins despite a bad performance. We're either good or diabolical which is why we'll never go up with Johnson in charge
