We’re usually in agreement but Ben has a point that spelling ****e should not carry on it is so tedious.

Well, blame Al Rawdah. He brought it up when in response to a post about posts mentioning politics being deleted. Or not, as that isn't consistent either.

Thread-banning Ben stunk of hypocrisy but it’s no surprise. That’s just the ways thing are done on here.

Can't really see what he has done wrong he just kept arguing a point but is that not what forums are for opinions.

Plus people can ignore or choose not to read or respond.

Sorry thought i was editing it and answered myself told you many times i'm a dick.

To be fair, a good parting statement.

"I would like to thank everyone at Hull City. I have had an amazing time and have learned so much in my two and a half years at the football club.

"Winning the League One title and receiving the manager of the year award last season was a huge honour, and I am proud of how the team has adapted to the Championship this season. We have been on a fantastic run over the past 12 games, earning 20 points and sitting 7th in the form table. I am confident the team can build on this form and finish the season well.

"It is a special football club and I would like to thank the Allam family for showing complete faith in me during our journey. I wish them all well for the future.

"To the players, staff, and fans, I thank you with all my heart. Through the good and the bad, we stuck together as one big family.

"Best wishes to Acun Ilıcalı on his new adventure and I hope there is lots of success for Hull City and its fans moving forward.

"Up the Tigers."

If you look at the messages sent to him directly on Twitter since yesterday, they're pretty much entirely positive and there's hundreds of them.
I should hope there isn't but not being on twitter myself I wouldn't know .I have seen some typical knuckle draggers posts on Hull City banter et al .

That's really unfair.

Firstly, when dozens of posts are deleted, you don't see them and have no idea what led to the action being taken if the first place.

Secondly, when people report posts, it reports them to every moderator on the site, not just us. When a poster generates half a dozen reports in a short period of time, it irritates the other moderators and if it irritates the supermods, it can lead to a site ban that we can't control.

Often these things are about damage limitation.

The issue yesterday was nothing to do with my posts but the questions that were asked in them potentially showing a few to be slightly hypocritical. They were duly protected by our one, & only, not fit for purpose moderator.

His initial post stating “it’s boring” is bordering on forum fascism. Who is he to decide what boring is? Personally I find him to be the second most boring person on here, doesn’t mean he should be cancelled.

He then posted “you'll post what is appropriate for the board,”

Can we have confirmation why asking questions to posters (in a polite & civil manner), which are on thread topic & relevant is inappropriate yet countless pages repeating idiotic puns & repeated spelling superiority which are always off the thread topic is deemed appropriate? Who, moving forward, decides what is appropriate?

If the rules he made up (we have forum rules, decided by the board members) yesterday were applied consistently across all threads then banning people from threads would be an hourly occurrence.

I was removed yesterday after asking what defined “tedious”, “disruption” & personal comments. Maybe the whole board should be entitled to contribute to what their meanings are & how they are applied rather than a single moderator on a power trip.

He has previously deleted threads questioning his ability to moderate fairly & consistently & regularly deletes posts he doesn’t agree with despite them breaking no rules. (This issue has gone on for years with many posters)

Again, I was cancelled yesterday not because of what I posted but because the questions asked made some posters uncomfortable & gave him the chance to go on a power trip.

No doubt this’ll be pulled too.
