Boro made that claim 3 seasons ago and the EFL asked them to hold off until they sorted Derby out. They did hold off, and the EFL never sorted it whilst Derby employed delaying tactics. As I understand it anyway.

Why would anyone pay £28m to buy Derby in their current state. Surely they’d want to be paid £28m to sort out the mess? What’s in it for whoever ends up taking over, other than losing a load of money?
