    Agreed
This point deduction is bollocks tho
Break the rules and it should be relegation to the bottom division
    Same for reading

Clearly the SPL have more bollocks than the EFL..... Rangers got exactly what they deserved...

It shows how weak the EFL are when they 'negotiate' penalties for breaches of rules.

Football grounds to be made community assets so 'twatty' owners cannot hive them off and hold clubs to ransom.

    Kudos to HCC?

Boro made that claim 3 seasons ago and the EFL asked them to hold off until they sorted Derby out. They did hold off, and the EFL never sorted it whilst Derby employed delaying tactics. As I understand it anyway.

How could that happen when a ground is privately owned?

    Nationalisation with compensation
(Highly unlikely but it has happened before, Rail, Steel, Coal mines etc.))

No idea. It requires the 'change'. Owners are only 'custodians' of what I believe should be community assets. They shouldn't be allowed to buy a 'club' and use the assets to improve their personal wealth.

Yes but the claim went in immediately and a bunch of procedural fobbing off by Mel Moron has led it to run on and on til now. So the claim absolutely should not be withdrawn or else it just legitimises the stick-a-finger-in-every-little-hole approach Mel Moron has taken to everything and eventually landed Derby in this mess.

    There must be consequences.

Why would anyone pay £28m to buy Derby in their current state.

Surely they’d want to be paid £28m to sort out the mess?

What’s in it for whoever ends up taking over, other than losing a load of money?

Replace County with Rams. The Asian markets will be lining up to invest.
