again? you are honestly just being a dick now, give it a rest man we all know how much you hate flanno and cant wait to jump in and blame him. when he is directly at fault for a goal or a loss then it is his fault and no one will try to defend him, when the entire team have a day off and he is not alone in making mistakes then i just find it hard to pin the blame on one player (using your own logic, his missing the ball on accringtons goal happened in their half, a bit like your defence of gooch the other day, actually), same as when a keeper kicks it straight to an opposition attacker who scores there is only the keeper to blame there. once a-feckin-gain yes he had a mare and once a-feckin gain he was not alone, once you remove your tunnel vision spectacles i might decide to reply in the future...or we can arrange a meet up and you can kick the **** out of me if that will give your deflated ego the boost it requires, as i do not need such things, sorry.
Just one question for you. If flanno doesn’t miss that ball in the 84th minute, do you think we go on to win the game?
but but but it was in their half, which according to you lets him off as it let gooch off two games before. i cant say for certain, can you? now a question for you... if our forward players had done the basic expected of them in such a situation, and stopped the keeper playing the ball out quick do you think we go on to win the game?
A forwards main job is to score goals, not stop the opposition keeper getting the ball out. A defenders main job is to defend our goal, to stop the opposition scoring. Once again, flanno failed at his job, and his massive error directly led to the opposition scoring. You must enjoy league 1? As you seem intent on sticking up for players keeping us in it? And a huge difference between gooch’s mistake and flannos. Gooch was on the edge of their box. Flanno was on the halfway line on a 3 on 2 situation. He knew what was behind him, gooch didn’t.
Bit harsh. A forwards main job is to score, but that doesn't pre-empt him having other duties as well. Definate poor play from Flanagan....I don't think there's any doubt he's at his level in this league....but, he has been a much improved player this season,in matches before this, and has done extremely well. I have a lot of sympathy for Lynden....I'm not a fan of him, but he's been an absolute star this season playing in a number of different positions almost match by match. However,as a front player, any mistakes made are generally not seen as costly as those from defensive players......you should factor that into your thinking. Finally,no-one enjoys us being in League 1,apart from Mags.
You start off by saying your not defending flanno. Then spend your whole post defending him. Makes perfect sense
show me where i have defended him, once again you start with a dig, you ask a question(s) which get answered, you refuse to answer questions given to yourself as that would obviously completely invalidate the pointless argument you are vainly attempting to create. once again, when you have a reasonable reply to your post you resort to making things up, denying anything you might have said/implied and try to make it sound like the other person has detracted from what they originally said as that is the only recourse left to you once you lose. give it up lad, or come back with something constructive, that makes sense, that you can back up with proper arguments...then someone might just listen.
No one doubts that Flanagan hasnt been poor i'd say this has been his best season with us up until the last couple of weeks. who would YOU replace Flanagan with?
