I agree however I think that when they spoke, even though they denied talking to him, to Emanelo he was like this January you need to spend£150m plus and on players who will be with you for next 3 seasons and they baulked at that.

My main issue is that we can't do what we did in the championship. Buy players to get us out of it. As we've realised since we can't sell them on.

If we buy players now to stave off relegation and then restart again we won't be able to get rid of those players due to high wages that they will currently be demanding

In that case we need to hit the loan market, we need to get the Ramsay's, Gini's, Origi's over the line tomorrow, wednesday and thursday. I'm reading on Twatter (I know) Cantwell is booked in for medical tomorrow - That's from a NCFC account - claiming Jacob Murphy going the other way on loan.
 
We've got 3 days to get a striker in, if we have to pay over the odds we have to do it we are that desperate.

We can't be going into the biggest game of the season with either Gayle or no striker, **** that.

Well, I imagine Trippier is over the moon. Thought we were ****ing useless, but wait - is that an unused Norwich substitute turning up to be a starter in Newcastle's midfield? Hallelujah, my prayers are answered.
